Recently we’ve seen a lot of discussion about the role social media is playing in networking, for example which are appropriate for business, are they internal or external networking tools, what risks can they present? Despite this discussion there can also be no doubt that an engaging conversation with someone on a face to face basis remains our most powerful tool in building a network.

So, we thought it would be helpful to take a look at how our learning and development work at Growing Clients is also reflecting these trends and delivering more flexible solutions in the area of networking.  Rather than just tell you about it we’d like you to come along to the ETC venue at Bonhill House, near Liverpool Street for a short evening, during which we’ll:

  1. take a look at and discuss some of the advantages and issues involved in social media such as LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter;

  2. demonstrate some of our approaches to learning and development in building networks; and

  3. share a range of ideas and people at Growing Clients.

At the end of the evening we’d like you to:

  1. 1.take away a useful idea about developing stronger networkers in your business;

  2. 2.know a bit more about Growing Clients;

  3. 3.have a nice glass of wine on us!

We are planning to start at 6pm and as its an end of the day event we are aiming for a casual and relaxed atmosphere.  If a colleague or friend would like to come along, then please bring them too, just let us know who’s coming so we can make sure you have access to the venue.

The directions for the venue can be found by following this link and clicking on the location tab.
